On Monday we are going to our school camp. It will be great fun. We are are doing some really fun activities such as canoeing, rock climbing and archery. The place were we are going to is called Wellington (not in NZ). It is near Murray Bridge.

Last Friday we had fair day. On fair day every class runs a a couple of stalls. At the stalls there are things to buy or games to play. The students bring some money and spend it on what they want. Our class sold hot dogs. We also had a massive glass jar filled with lollies and if you payed some money you could have a guess of how many inside it. If you got it right you got the WHOLE JAR. Jesse won the jar with a guess of 264.
It was great fun… If you could ignore the rain.

Heyy Everyone

Over the last week our class has been doing skipping for maths. I know that sounds a bit weird but we have a very good reason for doing so. We are learning about averages. For example if I got 95 skips in 1 minute, Blake got 146 and Chris got 89 then we had to add them together and then divide by the amount of numbers we had in the first place … if that makes sense. We had to find a class average for skipping forwards in 1 minute and backwards aswell.

Hey Everyone

At school Emma is teaching Tarn, Curt and I a dance called the Hoedown Throwdown and then we are going to teach it to the class for fitness. It is really fun but difficult to learn as it is very fast.We are also going on an excursion this week. We are going to Blackwood high school to see a performance.

School is back already and well under way. This term we are doing an inquiry on endangered animals. We are sharing this inquiry with another school and we have been communicating over Ether-pad. Later on in the term we are going on an excursion to the Adelaide Maritime Museum with our buddy school and we are going on a dolphin cruise in the Port River. We are also doing our 10 week I.B. personal project this term. Our school camp is also coming up this term. We are going to a place called El Shaddai near Wellington (not in New Zealand). We are doing some cool activities such as archery, rock climbing and canoeing.
